Do you have a Template for the Presentations?


There is no Template for the presentations. You are free in the design of the Presentation, but please add the EAIR Logo on it and the hashtag #EAIR.




Is it necessary to make a powerpoint presentation?


It is not necessary, but common. When you have got a single presentation, it would be great, if you would bring a powerpoint presentation. When you are offering a Workshop, Panel, Round-Table or an Open Space format, it is up to you if it is necessary or not.




Can I bring my presentation on a stick?


Yes, that is possible. Please make sure to be in the track room latest in the break before your session, to make sure, that your presentation will be on the laptop when your presentation starts.




Do you print my presentation as hand out for the participants?


No. But the presentations will be published on the website afterwards.




Do you print my paper as hand out?


No. The paper will be available as download on the website. When you would like to give it to the participants of you presentation, please bring some copies on your own.




I need an invitation letter for a Visa, can you help?


Sure! Please write us an email with your name, Passport number and organisation you are working for.




Is it possible to pay by cash for the conference?


Yes, it is possible to pay cash. You get a receipt when you payed.




I want to register for 2020, which is the correct category?


It depends on your status. The best deal is to become a member and to pay your membershipfee in combination with the forum fee. When you are no student and no emeritus, you become a full member. You can only register as a Speaker, when you a) got the possibility to present your research and b) when you are younger than 36 years.




Can you recommend some hotels?


Yes, currently we are contacting hotels to offer you special prices. Visit the Forum sub-page "Where to stay" for more information.




When is the deadline for submitting a proposal for #EAIR2020?


16 February 2020!




I am not able to pay for the conference. Is there a possibility to join for free?


Unfortunately not. We are always looking for sponsors for scholarships and would publish these information on this website and in our social media channels. In addition we are more than happy to support you in finding an own sponsor. If you need an official letter from us or if you need more information about EAIR, please contact us!




I am a Speaker. Do I have to register?


Yes. Everybody has to register and has to pay for the conference. We are offering special fees for young speaker under 36 years.




Is there an early bird discount?


Yes! When you register later than 30 June you have to pay 10% more. So hurry up!




Do I get a discount if I offer a workshop or a Networking Space?


No, there is no discount for workshops or Networking Space. Researchers offering a workshop usually need that time for working on a special topic or question and getting feedback and work by the attendees.





Publications

Will all submitted paper be published after the conference?


All papers and presentations sent to EAIR will be deposited on a protected page on the EAIR website. Conference topics receive a password with which they can access the papers. If you do not want this, simply tick the box on the submission form.




Will my paper be published in TEAM?


Not automatically. However, you can submit your paper to TEAM.





TEAM Journal

I did not receive the printed Journals for a long time. Why?


Since TEAM moved to Springer, there is no print version of the Journal any longer. TEAM is no only available online.




I would like to submit a paper for the TEAM Journal, where can I do that?

Poster

Do you have a Template for the Poster?


There is no Template for a Poster. You are free in the design of the Poster. Please add the EAIR Logo on it and the hashtag #EAIR.




In which size should my poster be?


A good size for a poster is DIN A0.




Do you print my poster?


No, we do not print your poster. Please bring it as a printed version to the conference. Alternatively, we try to help finding a copy shop in the city of the Forum.





Proposal/Full Paper

When is the deadline for submitting a proposal for #EAIR2020?

Yes! The template is published on the website. Please go to Forum and choose Submission of Paper There you find the word template as well as the EAIR Logo.




How do I indicate references?


Use APA.
